I’m so happy living here and this is why I have 13 years renting with you. But I might need to get the stove replaced for a new stove. The one I haven , it’s been repaired many times and still not working properly. It has 13 year already with me. Thank you, I’ll wait for your response.

I have lived at a Safeguard property for 4 full years now. I am happy with the rental company, and happy with the house.

Working with Safeguard has been pleasing and seamless in regards to payments and contracts. We have, however, been disappointed in the performance of Advanced Maintenance. There was a time when we really needed them to come to our aid, but they did not respond.

My tenant experience with Safeguard was bad. Merrilee makes a habit of making herself unreachable. The public facing phone number is an answering service that she takes 3-5 days to reply to. When she does reply she always apologizes and says "sorry i was out of office". Apparently she's out of office most days. Merrilee was particularly bad at notifying us of any changes and/or needs for the property or HOA. Repeatedly failed to notify us in time for parking and HOA changes causing us to be towed and fines and fees with the HOA. She would not take responsibility, blaming the owner and the HOA, for her completely insufficient communication and forced us to pay for her negligence out of our pockets. Our dishwasher was actively leaking onto the hardwood floors and Merrilee wanted us to wait 3 days for her to get a guy out there. RIP to the floors, I guess. Maintenance man came out when we complain about the water heater sounding like it was firing a gun. The maintenance guy said the water heater was original to the property and was 10+ years overdue for replacing. When following up with Merrilee she completely lied and said the maintenance guy said the water heater still had years of life in it. WRONG. Avoid Safeguard and Merrilee if you value your sanity and comfort.

Another year has passed, and I still have nothing to complain about Safeguard Property Management. They have been managing my rental property in Sandy for number of years and have been doing an outstanding job. I've been relying on them for selecting tenants and communicating with them, taking care of minor repairs, doing annual inspections and maintenance. I'm really happy with Safeguard's services and Merrilee has been always very professional and responsive. She always responds to my requests within a day and never neglects any of my questions. I highly recommend Safeguard's services without any reservations.

I love renting from safeguard property management. I wanna live in this house as long as possible.

You’d think your unit would have been updated the way they be raising rent.

I Can't believe how fast Merrilee was able to rent my just vacated property. She had it rented in one week!!! It would have been helpful if someone from her office would have gone over the first monthly report with me to understand how it all worked. However I was able to figure it all out.

I am pleased with my experience so far. The people in other apartments are pretty quiet which is nice. The grounds are well kept
